Personal injury - Accident at work (Employer liability)

K was carrying out manual work which required him to use a ladder. Upon losing his balance, K fell off the ladder and sustained serious injuries to his wrist and arm. The injury resulted in a metal plate being inserted into his arm. K was represented by Mohammed Ullah who had overall conduct of the case. A body of medical evidence was analysed, and it was agreed that the sustained injuries had permanent adverse effects on the client both presently and in the future. With thorough correspondence with physicians and medical experts, we were able to present an overwhelming case against K's employer which resulted in the case settling out of court and K receiving £50,000 damages.
